Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee to appoint workers under 50 to half of district executive posts : The Tribune India

In accordance with the resolutions passed during the ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir’ of the Congress party, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has decided to appoint workers under the age of 50 to half of the posts in district cadres.
CCP Chairman Govind Singh Dotasara has instructed the party’s district chairmen in this regard.
They were told that 50% of the proposed district executive positions will be awarded to congressional workers under the age of 50.
In addition, OBC workers, minorities, scheduled castes and tribes, and women will be adequately represented.
He asked district presidents to submit proposals to the CCP within three days.

However, in many districts, the posts of district party presidents have been vacant for a long time. The party had made several appointments, including that of district presidents, in 13 districts last December.
The three-day Nav Sankalp Shivir of All India Congress Committee recently concluded in Udaipur.
During the Shivir, the Congress decided that half of its tickets would be given to people under 50 and that the retirement age would be set for members of parliament, state legislatures and other elected positions.
