Kaithal/Ambala, September 2

Ahead of the announcement of panchayat elections in Haryana, BJP National Chairman JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to the state.

The party chairman traveled to the Kaithal grain market on Friday to preside over the BJP’s ‘Amrit Kal Sankalp rally’, where he attempted to inject energy into the workers and party leadership in the presence of the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and party chairman OP Dhankar.

Congress limited to brother-sister party

The BJP caters to all sections of society as it has democracy, while the Congress is no longer a national or regional party but has been limited to a brother-sister party. — JP Nadda Nadda, BJP National Chairman

Nadda targeted opposition parties for promoting dynastic politics and said a majority of these parties were restricted to families. He said the BJP was the party that had democracy, while the Congress was limited to a brother and sister party.

“The BJP caters to all sections of society as it has democracy, while the Congress is no longer a national or regional party but has been limited to a brother-sister party. Even senior congressman Ghulam Nabi Azad after leaving the party raised questions about leadership,” Nadda said.

Citing examples from the Samajwadi Party (SP), DMK, Shiv Sena, TMC, RJD, PDP, SAD and others, he said these were limited to families and now the Congress has become a family party. “The leaders of these parties are out on bail and face corruption charges. How can they rid society of corruption? asked Nadda.

Nadda said Modi’s victories in 2014 and 2019 were a rejection of the vote bank of congress-led caste politics and others. “Congress had divided people based on caste, religion and region, but the BJP had united people,” he said.

Praising CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Nadda said the state government was working for the welfare of the people and implementing programs with accountability and transparency, which had brought change. Haryana is performing well in programs like implementing soil health cards, providing benefits under Ayushman cards and providing electricity etc.

In Ambala, Nadda today called on party workers to further strengthen the party at the stands and induct new people into the party. He was here to hold a meeting of the Balana mandal in the town of Ambala.

During a closed meeting held here, the national chairman of the party instructed party workers to carry out various programs at the booth, highlight the achievements of the government, help people enjoy the programs government officials and to induct new people into the party.

On this occasion, the MP for Ambala City, Aseem Goel, briefed Nadda on previous activities and meetings.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, OP Dhankar Party Leader, Ambala MP Rattan Lal Kataria, Haryana Leader Vinod Tawde, Sangathan Mantri Ravindra Raju and several other BJP leaders hosted the national president on his arrival in Ambala.

Nadda praised Home Minister Anil Vij after being briefed on the Janta Darbar held by the Haryana Minister.

Salute the players

Nadda hailed Haryana for its brave soldiers, farmers and sportsmen. He praised the sportsmen of the state for their performance at the CWG.
