EUHA publishes the program of the 66th International Congress 2022
The European Union of Hearing Aid Professionals (EUHA) has announced the release of the program for the 66th International Congress of Hearing Aid Professionals 2022, launching a scientific symposium on Wednesday morning.
The opening ceremony of the EUHA 2022 congress program will take place this year on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Prof. Dr. Michael Hüther from the German Economic Institute in Cologne giving the keynote address. It will be followed by the scientific symposium from 11am. First-hand studies and research on topics related to hearing aid acoustics are the order of the day. The presentation will conclude with this year’s EUHA Sponsorship Award Ceremony as part of the symposium. The findings of the paper that won the sponsorship award offered by the German Hearing Aid Research Association (FDHA) will also be shared. This will give Congress attendees the opportunity to get an update on the current state of research.

Program of specialized conferences: More than 25 expert lectures and six tutorials in the fields of research and science, practical application, marketing and communication, public health policy and the future will be presented in the program specialist of the EUHA 2022 congress program. Top speakers from Germany and abroad will share their current knowledge, inviting you to stay informed and exchange ideas. A series of public health policy topics particularly relevant to the current times have again been scheduled for Thursday. Lectures in the scientific program will offer new perspectives on topics such as speech intelligibility in people with asymmetric hearing loss or after CI fitting. Other presentations will deal with the recognition of one’s own voice or the improvement of the device for patients with severe to profound hearing loss. Topics include how a target group of older people learn about hearing aid technology and what they think of tools such as remote fitting. There will also be an overview of 25 years of pediatric acoustics as well as a focus on the subject of room acoustics. Tutorials: Tutorials held at the Convention Center will provide expert knowledge. This year, attendees can expect topics such as percentile analysis, additive manufacturing of earmolds, and executive coaching skills. In addition, tutorials on auditory rehabilitation as well as hearing implants will be offered.
Future Friday: The third day of the event, Friday, October 14, 2002, is dedicated to future topics relevant to our industry. What will the hearing systems of the future look like? How will they perform? What are the trends that will influence the future? What should the hearing aid industry prepare for? This part of the program includes contributions from the hearing aid industry and EUHA. Four renowned speakers will address these topics in their opening remarks beginning at 2:00 p.m.
