Cuba will organize the 2nd International Congress on Science and Education
More than 1,600 professionals from 13 nations will take part in this congress, scheduled for June 13-17 in this capital, the president of the organizing committee, Silvia Navarro, told the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences.
Under the slogan “Research and Innovation: Agenda 2030,” the congress aims to promote scientific and educational exchanges on topics that are priority research areas for Cuba and the world, Navarro said during a press conference.
It will also consolidate strategic alliances for the training of professionals from Cuba and the region.
Navarro explained that the school is always that place where the integral formation of children and adolescents is promoted, and the participation of all sectors and factors of society becomes increasingly essential.
Navarro commented that school is the healthy and safe place for meaningful learning that will be useful for a lifetime, and that everything should take place in a positive, supportive and nurturing emotional environment.
Teachers must be increasingly prepared to face these challenges, which is why we must conduct their training from science, explain and socialize best practices and identify where they need to deepen, she stressed. .
