Jaipur: National Congress Secretary-General CP Joshi on Thursday accused the BJP government led by Narendra Modi of setting a new record for corruption in the country.
“All capitalists involved in corruption and scams have ties to the BJP and the BJP government has set a new record of corruption in the country,” Joshi said, speaking to the “Mera Booth, Mera Gaurav” program in the Tonk district.
AICC General Secretary and Head of Rajasthan Avinash Pandey expressed confidence that the pit-level workers will strengthen the party in the assembly elections and emerge as the winning party. He urged party workers to expose the shortcomings of the BJP government.
AICC General Secretary Mohan Prakash said it was important to corner the “anti-people” BJP government and urged party workers to expose its bad policies.
“Narendra Modi is a good talker and the locals elected him to power, but he betrayed the trust of the people who now feel cheated,” Prakash said.
Rajasthani Congressman Sachin Pilot said people now view Congress with hope and the party has grown stronger despite its opposition for four years.
“Party workers at the stand have strengthened the party that has not let down Congress. Party workers will uproot the BJP government with their hard work in the state, ”Pilot said.
